Internships are very important as you get practical training. Studies would provide us with theoretical knowledge but applying it practically is completely different and equally important. A company would hire you based on your degree and the practical experience you gain during internships and part-time jobs.
Soltice Morrison studied a Bachelor of Science with Honours at the University of Otago and a Graduate Research at Hokkaido University and is now a Senior Consultant, Land Infrastructure at Aurecon.
I spend another hour on the research task before sending off a first draft of the memo for review. The timing works out well, as it is now time for a team meeting to discuss our upcoming retreat.
I love how every day I get to immerse myself in new challenges and contribute to a project that will eventually be approved for execution in the future to be built for use.
