The majority of an agent’s day is communicating and speaking with clients, suppliers and your team. If you enjoy meeting new people and having a good chat then this role is for you.
The tasks I enjoy most are those that are both critical to the systems and may involve significant learning on the job, as they often can be best in broadening my experience.
My work ranges from conducting legal research and factual investigations, drafting legal advice, to attending court and communicating with clients, barristers and other parties.
During my studies, I worked in hospitality and at a university college and spent time volunteering at a youth cancer not-for-profit including as a board director.
I would definitely say that studying environmental science has given me an advantage in my career; the skills I learned through the degree have been invaluable.
I was always amazed when I was able to use my knowledge from university to draft a memo which later went out to the client either in its original form or with only minor edits.
