From the Honeywell Graduate Development Week, I know that I can bring my ideas to life. By knowing my strengths and playing to them at a place that is thinking for the future, I know that I can bring new innovative thinking and ideas to the workplace.
I’m invited to a meeting with my Director and National Manager. They’re looking for information on the agency’s historic expenditure and extrapolating future expenditure while analysing trends and noting key findings. I note their requirements and we discuss timeframes.
When applying to a firm, aim to get a sense of whether the work they do aligns with your interests and if the culture fit is apparent. In my opinion, these are 2 of the most important factors in choosing where to start your career.

At Westpac we work in an agile environment, which means I get to choose a different desk to sit at everyday. It’s a great way to meet different people on the floor.
Do not get disheartened if you are not selected for one, there are numerous other companies out there in the corporate world. Have a positive, knowledge-welcoming attitude towards everything.
