Eligibility
You must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen OR an Australian Permanent Resident, AND be in your final year of study of a university degree OR completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree no more than 3 years ago.
You’ll need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February 2023.
This program has been designed for you to get straight into a defined role and team for an extended period, but still not lose the perks of a grad program, including the connection to a larger cohort and direct access to our leadership team.
You'll spend 12 months in a team, building a well-rounded understanding of how that technology function works. You'll be surrounded by leaders who are invested in your development and focused on providing tailored experiences to match your determination and drive to explore their area of expertise.
PLEASE NOTE: This program doesn't involve rotations.
Experienced cybersecurity professionals are and will remain, in high demand, which is why we’ve made cybersecurity a strategic priority for Westpac Group. This program will expose you to the full lifecycle of our cybersecurity processes, in both a safe and constructive manner. This will give you the necessary experience to build your skillset in cybersecurity.
You will join our cyber team for 12 months, focused on building out your knowledge in cybersecurity principles and become a part of the well-established graduate community.

Provide hr advice to employees and leaders across the group
A lot of admin work - booking meetings, writing minutes, making presentation packs, liaising with eas to organise higher-ups attendance. a lot of work is given to you that others in the team would rather not do - the important thing is to have a good attitude regardless of how passionate you are about it as that attitude is what people will talk about when you roll off/apply for internal roles.
