Your role

Their Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure. This is a two-year, limited-duration role, which is a part of the Entry Level Programs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Act responsibly and conduct work in a positive manner in the work environment to ensure that the organization is correctly and favourably presented.
  • Undertake administrative tasks to support the local manager and provide administrative support to the wider team, as required. 
  • Provide quality customer service, ensure accurate and current information when assisting and responding to inquiries from customers and clients, and draft routine correspondence in an efficient and timely manner.

Make a real difference to your community through a once-in-a-generation experience across various projects across Regional NSW:  

  • 2 year fixed term full-time traineeship  
  • Obtain a Certificate 4 in Business through Registered Training Organisation 
  • Complete a structured online training program (virtual) 
  • Enjoy rotations across teams to experience a variety of tasks and situations 

Salary & benefits

Roles in the Business Traineeship earn an average of A$22,000 to A$32,000. 

Your salary will be based on the years since you completed your Year 12 HSC (Crown Employees Award).

About you

You’re a team player, with a great attitude, and hold yourself accountable for doing your best in school, work, and play. You enthusiastically seek out new opportunities to learn and have a good grip on your time management and prioritization skills. You also have: 

  • Completed Year 12 (HSC) OR hold a Record of School Achievement (RoSA) OR equivalent 
  • Proven basic computer literacy 
  • You are an Australian/NZ citizen OR an Australian Permanent Resident 
  • You are able to commence full-time employment
  • Understand the role will require you to organize your own transport to the depot, so reliable transportation is a must
