Your role

We’re looking for creative and data focused students with a passion for marketing to help us better engage with our rapidly growing student audience.

As an intern focused on email marketing, you’ll work within the product team to optimise existing email campaigns and come up with new strategies to better serve the millions of students who use Prosple to start their career. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists and engineers as you ideate, test and ultimately bring your projects to fruition.

This is definitely not your average internship where your actual work rarely sees the light of day. Your impact will only be limited by the ideas you bring to the table and your willingness to ‘get your hands dirty’ as you build systems in advanced email marketing software to target users with better job recommendations. 

More specifically:

• Come up with creative ideas to better engage with students.
• Optimise current marketing practices through A/B testing
• Learn to build marketing. automations in software such as ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Customer.io.
• Build business processes to streamline repetitive tasks and constantly look for ways to improve old methods.

• A$45,000/yr (pro rata for the period you work)

About you

This internship program is open to all current university students and recent graduates with a passion for engaging audiences through copywriting and visual storytelling.

More specifically:

• You have a passion for marketing and enjoy coming up with new ways of engaging with customers.
• You are a natural problem solver and love finding elegant solutions to difficult problems
• You have a bias towards action and don’t want to wait to be told what to do.
• You’re data driven and comfortable working with statistics to drive decision making.
• You’re comfortable in a changing environment and constantly working on new projects.

*Prior experience with email marketing tools is a bonus but not required if you have an eagerness to learn.
