What can you expect?

This role will provide professional operational support to all Mercer Marsh Benefits clients through the administration of injury management software; insurer liaison and back office injury management accountabilities. In addition to this, provision of administration support to the placement team in accordance with the placement process. The role is an ideal entry-level position in Workers Compensation consulting and injury management profession, with an opportunity for significant on the job development and progression of a career in this space. You will get exposure to all aspects of the work that our teams do on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Administering preferred injury management software for selected clients and maintaining this database
  • Insurer liaison with respect to injury management activities
  • Produce and/or format reports, manuals, presentations, and other correspondence or documents
  • Generate invoices
  • Organise and maintain file system, file correspondence, and other documentation
  • Maintain database and spreadsheet files
  • Collation of information for workers' compensation policy renewals and preparation of analysis, as required
  • Preparing renewal documentation on behalf of placement consultants
  • Support Workers Compensation team during busy periods
  • Read and route incoming correspondence

Our hiring criteria: 

  • Applicants must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident
  • Be in your final year of a university degree or have completed your degree in the past 2 years
  • Open to applicants from all university degrees and backgrounds
  • Graduates with a minimum of 65% grade point average (credit average)
  • Involvement with extra-curricular activities such as volunteering, sporting teams and/or community initiatives 
  • Experience working in an office type environment and a demonstrated proficiency in the utilisation of Microsoft office-based platforms is preferred
