Your role

As an intern, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Purchasing 
  • Reports & Analysis: 
    • Spend analysis – Comfortable compiling, organizing & analyzing spending data monthly. 
    • Benchmark analysis – Synthesize vendor quotes to build out RDO costing strategy. 
    • Inventory analysis – Work cross-functionally with inventory management teams to ensure efficient and effective flow through of goods. 
  • Forecast future RDO book spending using spend and inventory analysis. 
  • Purchase Order Creation & Issuance 
  • Goods Receipt 
  • Shipping & Expediting 
  • Invoice Trouble Shooting 
  • Own monthly KPI purchasing reports. 
  • Development 
  • Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders (creative, marketing, sales, etc.) to brief, track & manage brand retail promotional programs. 
  • Self-Ownership 
  • Ability to take on projects with minimized supervision and aggregate their support of the overall business. 
  • Quick Learner 
  • Eager to take on multiple different roles and opportunities.

About you

To apply for this role, you must have/be:

  • Must be in the final year of undergrad or have recently obtained a bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline. Degrees in Project Management, Advertising, Packaging, and Supply Chain preferred. 3.2 minimum GPA required. 
  • Previous internship or work experience in purchasing and/or in production especially in Luxe or CPG-related companies preferred 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint 
  • Excellent analytical skills, multi-tasking individual, detail orientated 
  • Strong prioritization, time management, coordination, and follow-up skills 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills 
  • Ability to handle work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to present data collected and analyzed to multiple levels of management 

Compensation & benefits

The salary for this role is $27.50/hr.
