2022 Life@Clyde Initiative

This initiative provides law students with the opportunity to learn more about our Firm, network with representatives across all levels and explore how their skills and knowledge might apply to the world of law. This event will also be used to identify emerging talent and build a strong pipeline of paralegals, summer clerks and law graduates.

In our first session, we invite students to learn more about our Financial Institutions and Directors & Officers (FI/D&O) practice. Our FI/D&O practice works on some of Australia's most complex and interesting matters relating to financial lines, professional indemnity, director and officers (D&O) and provides coverage and dispute resolution services to both corporate and commercial clients.

What to expect
Successful candidates will get the opportunity to:

• Attend an in-person panel discussion to gain an insight into the work we undertake and what it is like to be a part of a global law firm
• Hear from our Partners, Lawyers and Graduates about their journeys and what day-to-day life looks like across the firm
• Learn about the pro bono and international opportunities provided to Clyde & Co Lawyers
• Network with members of the firm and get a sense of what it means to be part of Clyde & Co
• Hear about the training and development opportunities for junior lawyers
• Explore alternate pathways to gain employment without participating in the traditional clerkship model

Who should apply?
We welcome applications from ambitious 3rd year - final year students who are interested in learning more about Clyde & Co and our pathways for law students.
