Management at Beca Australia

8.4
8.4 rating for Management, based on 18 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
They do make to be good mentors with a wealth of experience. My lead has made the effort to spare some time with each person in a team, once a month to get to know everyone and see how we are progressing. It just shows and emphasizes Beca's attitude is caring for their workers

My manager is fantastic. She helped me create a development plan and connected me with experts in the company in my desired field. She also guided me to training sessions and recommended helpful ones. She patiently answers all my questions and provides valuable feedback, which greatly aids my improvement.

Previous managers great but recently had a change so difficult to judge. I also find the senior leadership is all super busy so hard to get mentors.

Managers in general are useful and approachable. When on secondment, contact with managers other than those on site is limited and it can be hard to demonstrate your abilities. Feedback is only given about once or twice a year, more regular feedback sessions would be useful and help with devising a plan for career development.

Good mentors, supportive during difficult times and do not shadow how things are really going.
