Join BDO as a Clients & Markets Vacationer in our Clients & Markets team in either June 2024, November 2024 or January 2025!

As a Vacationer you’ll see firsthand how our Clients & Markets team operates as a dedicated national team to provide BDO with support and advice to ensure our clients can see the value we bring to our relationships. Our clients and markets team are the go-to people when it comes to all things Business Development, Bids, Marketing & Communications and Client Experience.
What you’ll get:
- 4 week program completing full-time, paid work experience during the university semester break

What you’ll offer:
- Your knowledge from your current marketing studies or relevant undergraduate degree
- You will be in your penultimate or final year!
- Your availability to commence in either June 2024, November 2024 or January 2025 for 4 weeks. Length of program and available intakes may vary in each location.

I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Pros
The culture in and out of the office is great.
My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.
Great opportunity to learn. People are nice and not getting annoyed when I ask questions.
Never any pressure to stay late.
The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.
Cons
Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
