What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
They recently went through an Enterprise Agreement so our pay is rising, and we'll be getting backpay which is cool. It's always nice to be paid more :) For the next question my salary base is what I would earn if I was full time so it is divided to accommodate my part-time hours
Intern, Brisbane - 30 May 2023
Considering my role as an entry position. I feel like I am paid at a fairly competitive rate relative to other firms.
Intern, Brisbane - 29 May 2023
Considering my age, my early level in my career and the fact that I am still studying, I am happy with my earnings.
Intern, Melbourne - 26 May 2023
Standard pay for interns across banking/tech
Intern, Brisbane - 24 May 2023
The casual rates I received for my current position are standard for the market if not slightly better, especially considering I have not graduated yet.
Intern, Brisbane - 24 May 2023
pay reflects my ability and hoe much i contribute

Haven't been there long enough to know about how much bonuses are. Pay is good for a junior position.
Graduate, Brisbane - 19 May 2023
There's no delusion to the fact that BOQ is not an ASX20 company. It's a 'mid-tier' bank, but with first-class interpersonal relationships.
Graduate, Brisbane - 27 Jun 2019
The pay is good for graduate level. 3 years with no significant increases is bit long.
Graduate, Brisbane - 27 Jun 2019
The remuneration is fair for what it is. Not sure about the bonuses as yet

Pretty decent pay for an entry level grad job
Graduate, Brisbane - 27 Jun 2019
The pay is on par with the expectation of a graduate in this industry, bonus programs are fair and achievable and they are open and transparent about performance to achieve bonuses.

I am quite happy with my salary. I think for a graduate its quite normal to be at this level, post university.
Graduate, Brisbane - 24 Jun 2019
The salary is better than other entry level positions, however per hour it is not too much better than working in retail. I don't know too much about the bonuses but I know they are available.
Graduate, Brisbane - 23 Jun 2019
Pay rate is good for a graduate.
Graduate, Brisbane - 21 Jun 2019
high pay for a graduate

Not enough to survive in Australia.
Graduate, Brisbane - 21 Jun 2019
Seems like a reasonable wage for the opportunity it is. It's certainly liveable. The real value is in the networking and the program itself. Haven't had anything to do with bonuses yet, so still to come on that.
Graduate, Brisbane - 21 Jun 2019
Salary is better than most other graduate positions in finance unless you get the most sought after institutions. This is a major draw for BOQ's graduate program.
Graduate, Brisbane - 21 Jun 2019
Very competitive for a graduate role with reasonable salary progression.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Sonder is a new platform BOQ have partnered with for 24/7 health support for you and your entire family. Can chat with health professionals for advice for both mental and physical health quickly. Also, if you are for example getting in an uber or first date then can schedule the app to check in with you and track your location. If it doesn't get a response then it alerts the emergency services which I find very reassuring.
