About Atlassian

Creating software that empowers everyone from small startups to the who’s who of tech is why Atlassian is here. They build tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Trello to help teams across the world become more nimble, creative, and aligned—collaboration is the heart of every product they dream of at Atlassian.

Your role

Are you dedicated to extraordinary user experience, have awesome technical chops, love solving problems, and relish variety? If so, Atlassian has a phenomenal opportunity for you as part of our Associate Product Manager (APM) Program.

This outstanding and “self-starter” opportunity as an APM will give your career in product management a head start with great support from an entrepreneurial team and experience in steering the direction of the products. You will gain experience in conducting customer & partner interviews that translate insight into action, crafting product specs that meet the user and business needs, researching & communicating competitive analysis, and new market/product opportunities (among other projects).

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats while crafting creative solutions for our customer's greatest challenges. We promise you'll never be bored!

The APM grad program is crafted and designed to accelerate the growth of exceptionally creative problem solvers into the next generation of global leaders. Their APMs experience two, one-year long rotations with different Atlassian product teams.

Training & development

The Graduate program offering:

Atlassian's Graduate program is designed to provide new graduates with real-world experiences to help them achieve professional goals and personal dreams. In your first month, you’ll join your fellow grads for their Chapter One program - two weeks of grad-specific onboarding built just for you. You’ll have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with all of your peers, dive into training, and enjoy some “playing, as a team,” along the way. You’ll dive into solving problems that affect millions of their users (including your colleagues at Atlassian)—and this is just the beginning. Read more.

Career progression

At Atlassian, they put significant importance on the career growth of their employees. Check out this article about how some of their new grads turned into engineering managers while staying in the company. Here are just some snippets from the interview:

"I did an internship here while I was at university, and it was refreshingly different from other experiences I’d had. I wasn’t just working on side projects—senior people were answering my questions, pair programming with me, making sure I had whatever I needed to be successful. They were so invested in helping me out, even though they knew I was only going to be here for six months. The whole experience just cemented my decision to apply." - Edith, Manager at Atlassian
