Job Description
An exciting opportunity has a risen for a Payroll /Accounts Officer to join our team. In this newly created role your responsibilities will include administering the payroll and accounts needs of many of our business services clients. On a day to day basis you will:
- Process various sized payrolls from end to end, across a range of different clients within different industries
- Update and maintain payroll and accounts records
- Lodge superannuation and tax
- Complete employment variations and requests such as new hires and terminations
- Completed AP and AR tasks for clients
- Liaise with clients and internal client managers re payroll and accounts queries; and
- Complete other ad hoc bookkeeping tasks and more!
The ideal candidate will have some payroll and bookkeeping experience or may have recently completed a Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping and be seeking a role in the field! Training and mentoring will be provided.
About You:
To be successful within this role you will have:
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities;
- Knowledge of software platforms such as MYOB, Xero or Quickbooks;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to relate to people at all levels;
- Confident manner and the ability to work autonomously; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
