Your role
Working closely with the Sales Director and Ethical Nutrition team, this role provides:
Robust data insights and analytics to inform strategy and business activities
Reliable identification of high-return/high-priority business opportunities
Timely tool, dashboard, and report development to support decision-making and brand/channel activities
Your main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Perform basic annual service and ad-hoc repair activities on electromechanical diagnostic equipment using prescribed procedures
Communicating with customers and arranging quotes and service contracts
Enter service calls and issue service/repair invoices in a finance system
Conduct pre-sale checks of instruments
Coordinate shipping of customer instruments
Coordinate instrument software updates
Make sure equipment is in good working order, electrically safe, decontaminated between uses and data managed appropriately
Assist with resolving assigned technical enquiries and complaints
Purchase and maintain adequate parts and supplies
Other quality-related tasks as required

About you
Here's what Abbott is looking for in this role:
Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, and/or finance
Strong analytical, statistical, and numerical/mathematical skills
Exposure and an understanding of market audit data and proprietary territory management systems, e.g. IMS data, BPCS, Cognos, Qlikview, Salesform.com, etc
Advanced Excel skills with at least a basic level of computer programming skills
Commercially savvy; able to translate data analysis to make commercial recommendations
Attention to detail, organisation, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Great at problem-solving; you think outside of the box
